INGALLS BUILDING PROJECT
INGALLS BUILDING PROJECT WAS HISTORICAL PROJECT WITH A THAT ACHIEVED A LEED GOLD STANDARD: HGC WAS THE CONTACTOR. SPRAY FOAM INNOVATIONS APPLY CLOSED CELL INSULATION TO THE EXTERIOR WALLS. THE FOURTH FLOOR NEEDED TO BE BUILT UP 6″ SO WE SPRAYED 2″ OF CLOSED CELL FOAM ON THE FLOOR AND HGC POURED THE REMAINING 4″ OF CONCRETE. THAT WAS DONE TO CUT DOWN THE ADDED WEIGHT OF EXTRA CONCRETE TO THE EXISTING BUILDING
THE FIREPROOF RESTAURANT PROJECT
ON THIS PROJECT WE SPRAYED OPEN CELL SPRAY FOAM TO THE CEILING TO DAMPEN SOUND TRANSMISSION THROUGH THE FLOOR THE TO OTHER APARTMENTS. WE ALSO PAINTED THE FOAM BLACK. THERE WAS EXTENSIVE COVER UP BECAUSE THERE WAS EXISTING DUCT WORK AND FLOOR. THAT DOES MAKE IT MORE COSTLY FOR THE BUILDING OWNER IF WE COME ALONG AFTER FLOORING IS IN AND DUCT WORK IS UP ECT…
ST ELIZABETH HOSPITAL PROJECT
THIS WAS AN INTERESTING PROJECT FOR US. AT ST ELIZABETH HOSPITAL WE SPRAY FOAMED THE SICU ADDITION WITH CLOSED CELL INSULATION. SOMEONE REALISED THAT THERE WAS A DRAIN PIPE RUNNING DOWN THE EXTERIOR WALL IN THE EXTERIOR CHASE AND IT WAS NOT INSULATED. TO RESOLVE THAT ISSUE WE INJECTED OPEN CELL INSULATION IN THE CHASE.
SMART COLUMBUS
THIS WAS A GARAGE SPACE RETRO. WE SPRAY FOAMED THE CEILING WITH CLOSED CELL INSULATION AND PAINTED IT WHITE WITH DC-315. THERE WAS ALSO A 12″ VOID BETWEEN THE FLOOR AND THE CEILING AND WE HAD TO USE CLOSED CELL POUR IN PLACE INSULATION TO SAFELY HANDLE THE WEIGHT OF THE PEOPLE.
Old Dominion Columbus Shop
